PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paperboard having an excellent anti-slip property and an excellent abrasion resistance.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by a paperboard comprising a base paper and an anti-slip layer laminated to the surface of the base paper, and characterized in that the anti-slip layer comprises a thermally fused material that is derived from the thermoplastic polymer constituting the outer shell of thermally expanded microcapsule and the arithmetic average roughness (Ra) of the surface of the anti-slip layer is 1.0 μm or more and 6.0 μm or less. It is preferred that the average thickness of the anti-slip layer is 10 μm or more and 35 μm or less. It is preferred that the slip angle of the anti-slip layer is 30° or more and 60° or less.
