PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner in which water shielding is applied to a capacitor case attached to an electrical equipment box.SOLUTION: In an outdoor unit 1 of an air conditioner, where an electrical equipment box 4 is arranged in an air conduit 23 connecting an air inlet 20 and an air outlet 13, an opening 401b is provided at one part of a back surface of the electrical equipment box 4. The outdoor unit 1 of an air conditioner is provided with: a capacitor case 47 in which a capacitor 52 is fixed at the back surface side of the opening and which has a flange 49 on the opening side; a seal member 61 which is sandwiched between the flange and the opening; and a gutter 401c whose upper edge of the opening is folded and which extends to the capacitor case side. By fixing the opening and the capacitor case in such a manner that the flange is housed inside of the gutter, the capacitor is prevented from being exposed to water droplets. |
