PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner with improved dust visibility.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner includes: a cleaner body 1 incorporating an electric blower 2; a suction tool 7 for sucking dust on a cleaned surface; a hose 4 having one end connected to the cleaner body 1; an extension pipe 6 having one end connected to the other end of the hose 4 and the other end removably connected to the suction tool 7; and an illumination part 13 arranged at an end on the side of the suction tool 7 in the extension pipe 6 and illuminating a cleaned surface. The illumination part 13 includes: first illumination means 14 with wide irradiation ranges; and second illumination means 15 with narrow irradiation ranges. When the suction tool 7 is connected to the extension pipe 6, a cleaned surface is illuminated by the first illumination means 14. When the suction tool 7 is detached from the extension pipe 6, a cleaned surface is illuminated by the second illumination means 15. When a wide place is cleaned by the suction tool 7, dust in wide ranges in front of the suction tool 7 is irradiated, and when the suction tool 7 is detached to clean a narrow place, only dust in narrow ranges is irradiated, thereby improving dust visibility. |
