PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate deviation in size of a split index assigned to each search server in a distributed search system whose search object is a large-scale file system.SOLUTION: When an index for search is created, meta information and contents are separated from file data, the contents are stored in one or a plurality of content servers, and the meta information is disposed in a split index. At this time, the assignment destination of the meta information is determined on the basis of a consistent hash method using a hash value of link information of each file. |
