The present invention relates to the field of video coding/decoding and is invented to increase coding compression performance. Disclosed are a method and device for building a candidate vector list (CVL). The method comprises: acquiring an inter-view motion vector predictor (IVMVP) of a current block and a motion vector predictor (MVP) of the current block, where the MVP comprises a temporal motion vector predictor (TMVP) and a spatial motion vector predictor (SMVP); determining whether the IVMVP is the MVP or a disparity vector predictor (DVP); sorting the IVMVP, the TMVP, and the SMVP on the basis of the determination result, and building the CVL. The present invention is primarily applicable in a multi-view coding/decoding process based on the 3DV standard. |
