PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to change a time required for a vehicular antitheft system, in which a control unit activates an alarm when a sensor detects a fraudulent operation of a vehicle in a monitoring mode in which a main switch is set to an ignition-off state, to enter the monitoring mode according to a necessity, and prevent the alarm from being activated undesirably.SOLUTION: When a special mode instruction signal sent from special mode instruction means 25 is not inputted until a normal mode set time has elapsed since an ignition-off time of a main switch 18, after the normal mode set time has elapsed, a monitoring mode is entered. When the special mode instruction signal is inputted before the normal mode set time has elapsed since the ignition-off time of the main switch 18, after a time longer than the normal mode set time has elapsed since the ignition-off time, the monitoring mode is entered. |
