PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitive touch panel that detects a stray capacitance change at sufficiently high response speed.SOLUTION: A drive part 10 drives X and Y electrode patterns 2X and 3Y, and a detection part 20 detects an output signal V(t) at one end of the driven X and Y electrode patterns 2X and 3Y. The detection part detects a stray capacitance change accompanying adjacency of an operation body based on time response characteristics of an output signal Vincluding the level of an output signal V(T) after the lapse of a delay time T. This can attain a simple configuration of the drive part 10 and the detection part 20 and attain sufficiently high response speed determined from the delay time Tregardless of a charge/discharge time (time constant) of stray capacitance. |
