The method involves determining the properties of the driver of a vehicle based on the information comprising photo or video of the driver. The driver assistance system is adapted based on the certain property such as biometric property of the driver. The information is stored in the structure of a social network, and/or by application on a smartphone (3). The certain property is determined based on image analysis method such as pattern recognition or Hough transformation. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a device for adapting driver assistance system of vehicle; and (2) a computer program for adapting driver assistance system of vehicle.
