PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus capable of guiding a user up to a destination by intuitively and plainly showing a route to the user walking on the route at a branching point etc.SOLUTION: A route search section 21 searches a route from a present position detected by a present position detection section 11 to a destination set by the user through an operation section 16 while referring to a piece of map information stored in a map information storage 13. While guiding the user on a route based on a piece of route information searched by the route search section 21, when the present position gets closer to a preset guide point like a branching point in the route, the route guide section 22 causes a camera 18 to take images. Based on a posture (direction and inclination) of the apparatus detected by a posture detection section 12, the route guide section 22 draws a guide image for guiding the user to the destination on the taken image to display the same on a display section 15. |
