PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corset for a quadruped and mounting method of the corset which are capable of keeping the backbone of an animal nearly horizontal, the backbone of the animal being difficult to keep horizontal.SOLUTION: The corset comprises: a corset body 10 which covers and firmly binds an area from the dorsal vertebra to the ribs of the quadruped and an area from the lumber spine to the flank and the pelvis of the quadruped to keep the shapes of the areas; and detachably mounting means 20 for detachably mounting the corset body 10 to the quadruped.
