A method for producing a sheet-material container for a dispensing unit comprises the following steps: fitting a head part (16) at a first end (14) of a substance-filled sheet-material bag (10; 12), wherein the head part (16) has at least one outlet channel (36; 38) for the substance; opening the sheet-material bag (10; 12); and closing the outlet channel (36; 38). The operations of opening the sheet-material bag (10; 12) and of closing the outlet channel (36; 38) take place prior to initial use of the sheet-material container in the dispensing unit. A sheet-material container for a dispensing unit comprises at least one sheet-material bag (10; 12), which is filled with a substance, and a head part (16), in which a first end (14) of the sheet-material bag (10; 12) is accommodated. The head part (16) has at least one outlet channel (36; 38) for the substance. The sheet-material bag (10; 12) is open at the first end (14), and the outlet channel (36; 38) of the head part (16) is closed by way of a closure part (22), which can be opened or removed by a user. |
