POLYAMIDE RESIN COMPOSITION, AND MOLDING OBTAINED THEREFROM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide resin composition excellent in luminance and clear feeling.SOLUTION: The polyamide resin composition contains 100 parts mass of a polyamide resin (A), 1-10 parts mass of swelling layered silicate (B), and 1-5 parts mass of a vapor-deposited metal powder pigment (C). A method for producing the polyamide resin composition comprises the steps of: dispersing the swelling layered silicate (B) in a monomer component constituting the polyamide resin (A); polymerizing the swelling layered silicate-dispersed monomer component to obtain a resin composition; and melt-mixing the obtained resin composition with the vapor-deposited metal powder pigment (C). Since a molding obtained by molding the polyamide resin composition has high metallic gloss and high design properties, the polyamide resin composition can be used suitably for an automotive component or an electrical component.
