PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of layered operation screens.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a display unit the performs image display; an operation unit that receives operation by an operator; and a control unit that controls the display unit and operation unit. The control unit displays, on the display unit, operation screens having a layered structure and each including one or two or more input parts, and displays, on the operation screens, a cursor indicating an input position in the operation unit, so as to perform control to move the cursor on the operation screens according to cursor movement operation by the operation unit. When input operation by the operation unit is performed to the input part of the operation screen in the lower layer, the control unit performs, on the operation screen in the upper layer to be a return destination, cursor automatic movement control to automatically move the cursor to be positioned on an input part side related to the input part that has received the input operation and provided on the operation screen in the upper layer. |
