The present invention relates to a vehicle position correction apparatus which corrects vehicle position information outputted from acceleration sensor information and gyro sensor information and outputs more accurate position information. The vehicle position correction apparatus of the present invention includes: an acceleration sensor which measures the acceleration of a vehicle; a first position calculation unit which calculates first position information of the vehicle from the measurements of the acceleration sensor; a gyro sensor which measures the angular velocity of the vehicle; and a position correction unit which corrects the first position information calculated from the first information calculation unit using the measurements from the gyro sensor. |
