<p>The method involves measuring the temperature and pressure of a fluid and determining whether the fluid is in liquid or gaseous phase, based on the measured temperature value and the measured pressure value. A vessel (10) is opened and gaseous fluid is discharged from the vessel, when the presence of the fluid is in the gaseous phase. The measured temperature value and the pressure measurement value are compared with stored temperature and pressure values of a boiling point curve (S) of the fluid, for determining the phase state of the fluid. An independent claim is included for a degassing device for partial degasification of a fluid-containing vessel, particularly a conduit.</p> |
