PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give support so as to discriminate whether or not a subject suffers from a predetermined disorder by setting a plurality of regions inside a tomographic image and comparing the tomographic image of the subject and tomographic images of those who belong to a specific group. SOLUTION: An image diagnostic support system includes: a subject data storage part 11; a healthy person data storage part 12; a region data storage part 20 for storing region data indicating a plurality of regions inside tomographic images; means 15, 17, and 18 for determining whether or not each of the plurality of region is a feature region where the tomographic image of the subject has characteristics different from that of tomographic image of healthy person by comparing the tomographic image of the subject with the tomographic image of the healthy person; a discrimination data storage part 21 for storing discrimination data according to disorders; and a matching part 19 for comparing the result of determination with the discrimination data.
