PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finder device in which an OVF and an EVF can be switched and further a finder can be miniaturized, with a simple configuration and to provide an imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: A finder device 19 in which the OVF and the EVF can be switched includes an objective optical system capturing subject light, a first prism 79 emitting the subject light introduced from the objective optical system from a light-emitting surface, a second prism 81 arranged so that a light incident surface faces the light-emitting surface of the first prism, an image display panel 89 arranged so as to be freely inserted and removed between the light-emitting surface of the first prism and the light incident surface of the second prism, and a drive part moving the image display panel to one of a first position where the image display panel is inserted into an optical path and a second position where the image display panel is out of the optical path. The image display panel includes a display part facing the light incident surface of the second prism, to display the display image of an electronic view finder, in the first position. |
