PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide light emitting devices which enable light to be equally enter into a light guide plate by adjusting light emitting directions even when being disposed at a wide interval (in other words, even with a small number of the light emitting devices).SOLUTION: A light emitting device includes: a substrate 11; a light emitting element 12 mounted on the substrate 11; and a convex lens part 13 which seals the light emitting element 12, is made of a translucent resin, and has a top part positioned on a radial axis of light emitted from the light emitting element 12, the convex lens part 13 having a convex surface having different curvatures on a first cross section and a second cross section which intersect with each other on the radial axis. |
