PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet lamp for liquid discharge devices discharging a UV-curable liquid so as to improve the image quality and abrasion and scratch resistances of the printing surface.SOLUTION: In a recording head of a liquid discharge device discharging a UV-curable liquid or a case attachable in the side of a member interlocked with the recording head, a UV lamp consisting of a UV ray emitting diode is arranged so as to face a UV irradiation window of the case. In the UV lamp, an illuminance modifying part having an area expanding from the tip part to the back side is provided so as to divide the illuminance modifying part into a plurality of segments having different illuminances and make each segment controllable by a controller. |
