PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rate a storage battery by evaluating a future residual value.SOLUTION: A device for rating a residual value of a storage battery includes: equivalent history identification means; probability distribution calculation means; residual value calculation means; and rating means. The equivalent history identification means identifies an equivalent history of the storage battery in a test condition which is calculated from deterioration test data measured for each test condition with respect to the storage battery and a state amount of the inside of the storage battery, and is equivalent to the past use history of the storage battery. The probability distribution calculation means calculates the state of the storage battery after predetermined period from the deterioration test data as the probability distribution by regarding the identified equivalent history as the current state of the storage battery. The residual value calculation means obtains the residual value of the storage battery by calculating a ratio by which the probability distribution exceeds the use limit standard in accordance with the use purpose of the storage battery as an incompatibility ratio. The rating means applies rating to the residual value of the storage battery in accordance with the incompatibility ratio after the predetermined period. |
