PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve efficient reduction treatment of NOx in exhaust from a diesel engine with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A shipboard exhaust gas purification device has a post treatment device (27), which removes NOx in exhaust from an engine (12) on board a ship, in an exhaust passage (25) of the engine (12). The exhaust passage (25) has a bypass passage (29) diverged therefrom at a branch section upstream the post treatment device (27). Diversion valves (30) and (31) are arranged respectively at a position between the branch section and the post treatment device (27) and at an inlet side of the bypass passage (29).
