Provided is a vehicle enabling external discharge (below "engine operation discharge") for supplying to outside the vehicle the power generated using the dynamic force of an on-board engine, wherein if the engine is running (YES in S10), an ECU determines whether the engine is in a state of running and discharging. If the engine is not in a state of running and discharging (NO in S11), the ECU sets an engine abnormality determination condition to a first abnormality determination condition (a condition in which a misfire provisional abnormality is detected in two trips), and if the first abnormality determination condition is established, the ECU causes an engine warning lamp to light (S21, S22). Meanwhile, if the engine is in a state of running and discharging (YES in S11), the ECU sets an engine abnormality determination condition to a second abnormality determination condition (a condition in which a misfire provisional abnormality is detected in one trip), and if the second abnormality determination condition is established, the ECU causes an engine warning lamp to light and causes the engine to stop automatically (S32-S34). |
