Disclosed is a method of adjusting mechanical and acoustic properties of timber by treatment with ferroparticles, in which a sample is placed in an installation, treated with a substance and measured. The sample is placed in the installation with electromagnets, which are switched on in turn, as the treatment is carried out by filling the xylem vessels within a day with carbonyl iron particles 5-35 nm, and thoroughly stirred in 0.1 % solution of oleic acid for 2 hours up to transition into suspended state. Additionally measurement of wave impedance is made. |
