<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieval system for improving the easiness to use of a keyword by making it easy for a user to perform access to information. <P>SOLUTION: The information retrieval system includes: a registration means for registering information which can be used by a plurality of users and individual keywords preliminarily registered for each of those users in association; and a retrieval means for retrieving the information registered by the registration means by using the individual keywords. The registration means is able to further register a shared keyword preliminarily registered for the plurality of users in association.
