Disclosed is a method of assembling a rotor for an electric turbo-charger. The method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a first step of cleaning a connector, a permanent magnet, an end cap, and a retention ring which configure the rotor; a step of inserting the permanent magnet into the connector; a third step of cooling the connector and heating the end cap under high-temperature conditions for a given time to shrinkage-fit the end cap into the connector thereby to form a permanent magnet assembly; a fourth step of cooling the permanent magnet assembly and heating the retention ring under high-temperature conditions for a given time to shrinkage-fit the retention ring into the permanent magnet assembly to form a rotor assembly; a fifth step of performing heat treatment on the rotor assembly under high-temperature conditions for a given time; and a sixth step of performing post machining on the rotor assembly.
