The present invention provides a wide polarizer suitable for the 100 inch liquid crystal display panel and a manufacturing method thereof. A polyvinyl alcohol film uncoiled from a coil is done with an extension treatment extending along the coil width direction and contracting along the coiling direction, and a cellulose triacetate film is used to do laminate process on the two surfaces of the polyvinyl alcohol film after the extension treatment so as to manufacture the wide polarizer. |
