The present invention relates to a method for removing 2,3-butanediol from a microbial culture medium containing 1,3-propanediol and 2,3-butanediol, and more specifically, to the method using a glycerol as a source of carbon and using a chemical reaction to remove 2,3-butanediol to effectively collect 1,3-propanediol from the microbial culture medium producing 1,3-propanediol. According to the present invention, by effectively removing 2,3-butanediol having similar physical properties with 1,3-propanediol from the microbial culture medium, the efficiency of a 1,3-propanediol collecting process can be improved. |
