COMPUTING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING DATA IN THE SYSTEM

Provided is a computing system. The computing system includes: a storage device uses as a flash memory storage area; and a file system which divides a storage area into multiple blocks, sections, and zones and writes logs on each block. The file system includes a block allocation module which allocates a target block to write each log using a consecutive block allocation method which allocates blocks with consecutive addresses as target blocks, and searches for a free section among multiple sections and allocates the blocks allocated in the searched free section as target blocks when the allocation using the consecutive block allocation method is impossible.
