PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine that can increase efficiency of a pressing operation when a load is large in the pressing operation, and has a little influence on lifes of an inverter and an electric motor at unnecessary time.SOLUTION: A hydraulic shovel as a construction machine includes a swivel electric motor 25 as an electric actuator for driving an upper swivel body 20 to swivel. A winding provided for the swivel electric motor 25 includes windings of at least two or more systems, and a controller 80 performs switching to one of the windings of the two or more systems according to a load placed on the electric motor 25. When it is determined that a load is large in a pressing operation, low-speed high-torque characteristics are obtained by switching the windings to improve pressing operability. |
