PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image handling device and the like for providing an interface capable of controlling specific hardware of an image forming apparatus while maintaining efficiency of screen development.SOLUTION: An image handling device includes an imaging unit, a network interface connected with an external device via a network, a processor, and a storage unit that stores a program executed by the processor. The program, upon reception of screen information transmitted from the external device via the network interface, displays a condition setting screen for performing one or more condition settings for reading an image from a document by the imaging unit on a display unit of the image handling device on the basis of the screen information, and transmits the condition settings input through the condition setting screen to the external device. The program, upon reception of execution instruction data for executing reading of an image generated by the external device on the basis of the condition settings, causes the imaging unit to read the image from the document on the basis of the execution instruction data. |
