Disclosed are a valve device and a gas burner system having the same. The valve device comprises: a valve body including a main channel receiving fuel gas from the outside and two branching channels capable of discharging the fuel gas, which is supplied from the main channel, to be divided into pilot gas and main gas respectively; a valve shaft inserted into the main channel of the valve body, rotated by a gas control knob installed at the outer end thereof, and guiding the fuel gas, which is supplied from the main channel, to at least one of the branching channels depending on the rotating angle thereof; a burner part including a pilot burner connected to one of the branching channels of the valve body by the medium of a pilot gas line, and a main burner housing the pilot burner and connected to the other of the branching channels of the valve body by the medium of a main gas line; an ignition trans connected to an ignition plug, which is included in the burner part, by the medium of an electric wire; a limit switch fixed to the outside of the valve body by the medium of a supporting bracket, connected to the ignition trans by the medium of an electric wire so that the burner part can be ignited through the ignition plug, and having a movable pin at one side thereof; and a switch actuating lever of which one end is fixed to the valve shaft, and the other end pushes or releases the movable pin of the limit switch depending on the rotating angle of the valve shaft so as to turn on or off the limit switch. |
