PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generator whose air inlet is prevented from being blocked by a user's hand.SOLUTION: In the ion generator, positive ion and negative ion each generated by ion generating means provided in an air sending housing 1 are sent in a prescribed direction through an air sending port 17, and liquid atomized in a tank housing 5 coupled with the air sending housing 1 is jetted in the same direction as an ion sending direction (the prescribed direction) through a jetting port 62 formed at the tank housing 5 when a mist SW 102 is pushed for operation. An air intake port 15 for securing air volume is fitted to a ventilation part 1b more recessed than a gripping part 1a of the air sending housing 1, so that the air intake port 15 is prevented from being blocked by the user's hand. |
