[Problem] To provide a portable terminal device whereby it is possible to alleviate passwords becoming known to other persons. [Solution] A portable telephone device (1) comprises: a touch detection unit (14) which detects a location upon a display screen (3) which is touched by a user; a vibration actuator (8) which outputs numbers which configure a password as tactile information; a drive control unit (24) which controls the vibration actuator (8); a region setting unit (21) which sets upon the display screen (3) a plurality of input regions (103) whereto the numbers are respectively allocated; and a determination unit (23) which, on the basis of the result of the detection by the touch detection unit (14), determines whether any of the input regions (103) have been touched. When any of the input regions (103) are touched, the drive control unit (24) controls the vibration actuator (8) such that the number which is allocated to the touched input region (103) is notified. |
