The present invention relates to an imidazole derivative and an organic electronic device using the same, and more specifically, to a novel imidazole derivative capable of enhancing photoelectric conversion efficiency of an organic solar cell. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the imidazole derivative is represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, Ar1 is -(L1)p1-(Y1) q1, Ar2 is -(L2)p2-(Y2)q2, Ar3 is -(L3)p3-(Y3)q3, and Ar4 is -(L4)p4-(Y4)q4.
