A driving method of an LCD device is disclosed. The LCD device includes a plurality of data driver ICs 200, each including a gamma voltage generator 250 which generates a gamma voltage. A timing controller 500 generates an EPI packet for controlling the data driver ICs. The driving method including the steps of; generating an EPI packet including control signals to control, the data driver ICs, gamma voltage and RGB image data; supplying the EPI packet to the data driver ICs; converting RGB image data into analog data voltages using the gamma control signals; and supplying the data voltages to the LCD. |
