[Also in Division F4] The light inside an oven of a cooking stove (see Divisions F3-F4) is operated by means of a plunger switch 196 so that when the oven door is opened the plunger is extended and the light is turned on. In addition the light may be turned on even with the door closed by depressing a plastic push - button 202. This causes lever 199 to pivot about pin 200 away from the plunger 196, against the action of spring 201, so that the plunger may extend through hole 197. Notch 207 on button 202 allows the button to be locked in the " on " position if desired.
