The device has a manual interface (16) moved from a central position (PO) toward four peripheral positions. A recall and haptic feel biasing unit (20) biases the manual interface continuously toward the central position. Displacement guides make displacements of the interface between the central position and the peripheral positions to be rectilinear translations according to a longitudinal axis and a transverse axis. The biasing unit includes push rods (42) urging against a cam (22) so as to exert forces with resultant allowing the interface towards the central position. The peripheral positions include a front position and a rear position aligned according to the longitudinal axis, a right position and a left position aligned according to a transverse axis. The interface in the central position rotates in clockwise and anti-clockwise directions around a normal axis.
