The present invention seeks the enhancement of the processing performance of a multiprocessor system. An OS control application 101 being executed at CPU #c1 determines whether synchronous processing execution-requested from thread #t1 executed by OS #o1 is the synchronous processing between threads executed by different OSs. When it is determined that the former synchronous processing is not the synchronous processing between threads executed by different OSs, an OS control application 101 uses local memory #lm1 being a memory area unique to the CPU #c1 to perform the synchronous processing execution-requested.
