The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for engine inspection analysis through a spark ignition engine automobile. The method and the apparatus for engine inspection analysis through a spark ignition engine automobile are inputted with an engine ignition period signal of each of a new automobile control group (N), a failed automobile control group (F), and an automatic (T) to be measured, in order to determine the engine state of the automobile (T) to be measured by comparing and analyzing distribution data on each ignition period. Through the present invention, the engine state can be efficiently check and diagnosed only by comparing the ignition period of the automobile to be measured with the ignition period data of the new automobile control group (N) and the failed automobile control group (F) for analysis according to the basic operational principle and properties of an automobile engine.
