PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to accurately measure a change in flow rate, with respect to a machine length direction, of the air sucked into charged layer in a downward-suction type sintering machine, and a production method for sintered ore that is optimized based on the measurement results.SOLUTION: An air flow rate in a sintering machine in which a sintered ore is produced by charging, on a palette, a sinter raw material comprising a powder ore and a carbonaceous material to form charged layer, igniting carbonaceous material on the surface of charged layer using ignition furnace, sucking the air above the charged layer comprising a gaseous fuel fed from a plurality of gaseous fuel feeding units installed downstream of ignition furnace using wind box provided underneath the palette to introduce into charged layer, and combusting the carbonaceous material with the gaseous fuel, is measured by placing flow rate meters on the upper surface of charged layer at locations of a total of two or more, at least including one at the outlet side of ignition furnace and one or more at the outlet side of any of respective gaseous fuel feeding units, and the flow rate of the air introduced into charged layer at respective locations for the duration t(=L/v) is measured, which is calculated by dividing the installation interval distance L, with respect to a machine length direction, of flow rate meters by the original palette travelling speed v, under a condition where the movement of palette is stopped. |
