PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an observer to perceive a correct stereoscopic effect when displaying images for binocular stereopsis in a horizontally-inverted manner.SOLUTION: When image processing for horizontally inverting an image is applied to acquired left-eye and right-eye images for binocular stereopsis, a display control apparatus outputs the horizontally-inverted left-eye image as a right-eye display output to be displayed on a display apparatus for the right eye. Then, the horizontally-inverted right-eye image is output as a left-eye display output to be displayed on the display apparatus for the left eye. Further, the display apparatus displays the left-eye and right-eye images so as to allow binocular stereopsis. |
