PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gene introduction base material that can introduce a gene in a cell on a base material with high efficiency.SOLUTION: A production method of a gene introduction base material includes a process in which a base material is made to contact a supersaturated calcium phosphate solution including a gene at 20-40°C, a composite particle including the gene and calcium phosphate formed in the solution is subjected to precipitation and immobilization on a surface of the base material, and a layer comprising the composite particle is formed on the base material surface, wherein a supersaturated calcium phosphate solution including the gene includes: 1-100 μg/mL of a gene; 1.8-5.5 mM of a Ca component; 0.9-2.8 mM of a P component; 10-200 mM of a K and/or Na component (summation); and 10-200 mM of a Cl component as an initial concentration.
