The method involves moving a vehicle along a trajectory to be determined from current position to target position. Friction coefficient of wheels of the vehicle on the ground is determined, and the trajectory is determined based on the friction coefficient. The trajectory having larger distance to navigation space boundary elements is determined with low and/or very low friction coefficients and with normal or high coefficient of frictions. Function of semi-autonomous- or autonomous vehicle guidance is not carried out. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program comprising a set of instructions for assistance with driving maneuver of a vehicle (2) a driving assist system for assistance in driving maneuver.
