<p>Provided is a method for detecting a liver-cancer-marker glycoprotein, which has high sensitivity and high specificity, and detecting liver cancer or cirrhosis by using the same. A method for detecting liver cancer or cirrhosis which sets the amount of a glycoprotein present in a body fluid or a value calculated on the basis of the amount of the glycoprotein present therein as the indicator therefor, the method for detecting liver cancer or cirrhosis being characterized in that the glycoprotein is anα1-acidic glycoprotein having, for each glycoprotein molecule, at least one N-bond-type sugar chain having at least two fucose for each sugar chain.</p> |
