摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering control device capable of securing responsiveness of steering, regardless of the size of assist gain. <P>SOLUTION: A torque sensor 30 detects steering torque based on a difference between a rotation angle of a steering shaft 10 input with the steering torque therein and a rotation angle of a steering shaft 20 connected to a tire 5 of a vehicle. A control part 50 has an input part 51 input with the steering torque detected by the torque sensor 30, calculates turning assist torque based on the steering torque and operates an electric motor 40 to impart the turning assist torque to the tire 5. The control part 50 secures gain margin and phase margin of an open loop frequency response characteristic from the input part 51 to the torque sensor 30 by prescribed values or more, and makes gain of a closed loop frequency response characteristic from the steering torque to an angle of the tire 5 higher than steady gain in a prescribed frequency band. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
