<p>Molten steel is poured, together with mold powder, into a mold, and the molten steel is gradually solidified in the mold. A slab molded while being solidified in the mold is continuously taken out of the mold. The slab taken out of the mold is subjected to electrolytic grinding reducing, for example, using a surface-reducing head in which an elastic grindstone and an electrode are disposed. A layer entrapping the powder and flaws are removed from the surface of the slab by the electrolytic grinding reducing. The slab subjected to the electrolytic grinding reducing is subjected to hot rolling, annealing, shot blasting/descaling, cold rolling, annealing, pickling, and the like as appropriate to thereby produce a steel product.</p> |
