A mobile terminal includes: a case which includes a through window on the front thereof; a display unit which is located on the case to expose the front thereof toward the through window; and a middle frame which is located on the rear of the display unit and includes a receiving unit into which the display unit is fitted. The wall side of the receiving unit is in contact with the side of the display unit. The edge of the receiving unit is recessed from the wall side to be separated from the side of the display unit. Damage to the display unit is prevented by reducing the hot spot stress of the edge due to an external impact. |
