The device has a biasing unit (12a) integrally formed with a support, which is articulated around a pivot axle (8a) that is fastened with an element i.e. base (2). The base is secured to another element i.e. backrest (3), via a lever axle (16a). The support comprises two side arms (1a), and the base is arranged between the side arms. The base is articulated with a rear part by an articulating axle (6) that is placed at a lower part of the backrest. A movement transmission unit i.e. pivot reference point (18a), is attached at an end of a pivot unit (7a). An independent claim is also included for a support.
