The present invention relates to an insulating cylinder for an insulation junction box of an extra high voltage power cable and, more specifically, to an insulating cylinder for an insulation junction box of an extra high voltage power cable capable of reducing material costs and providing the convenience of the connection by improving the structure of the insulating cylinder of synthetic resin material to reduce the size of the protective tube. The insulating cylinder for the insulation junction box of the extra high voltage power cable is injection-molded as the synthetic resin material; and comprises a first straight line unit formed with a first predetermined outer diameter, and a second straight line unit which includes a tapered inclined unit extended from the straight portion to have a predetermined inclination angle and a second outer diameter extended from the inclined unit and greater than the first outer diameter.
