The purpose of the present invention is to provide a slide part which is configured so as to control the streak-like flow of fluid caused by cavitation occurring in a recessed portion such as a dimple in a slide surface, thereby being capable of preventing the leakage of the fluid irrespective of the magnitude of the difference between pressures at the inner and outer peripheries of the slide surface. A slide part is characterized in that a dimple is provided in the slide surface of one of a pair of slide parts which slide relative to each other, and that a groove having directivity is formed in the region of the dimple where cavitation is formed. |
